FILM INSTALLATION WORKSHOPS 20 January 2018 – 2 May 2018 For young people weather-beaten 11 – 18 yrs Young Filmmakers were joined by Avant Kinema and Kerry Jones to turn their videos and soundscapes into an installation for AlchemyMucosaFestival 2018. CREATIVE SOUND WORKSHOP Saturday 13th January 2018 – 1-4pm For young people weather-beaten 11 – 18 yrs Local filmmaker and versifier Dawn Berry joined our group of young filmmakers to experiment with sound as part of the minutiae of their installation at AlchemyMucosaFestival 2018. SCREEN BANDITA 16mm Direct Animation Workshop Saturday 25 November 2017, 1-4pm Get creative making wonderful utopian animations on 16mm celluloid mucosa strips! This hands on workshop will demonstrate techniques to draw, paint, etch & collage directly onto the celluloid to create mesmerising moving image experiences. The mucosa will then be projected so you can see your creations come to life on screen! EXPERIMENTAL FILM TASTER WORKSHOP 21 October 2017 Join Borders filmmaker Jason Moyes in Duns for a one day introduction to the nuts of experimental film.
